Hilary Bowen. Silver Clay Jewellery.
Based in Hampshire, I am a Senior Instructor in Art Clay Silver and run regular workshops for those wishing to learn the skills.
Silver clay is a fairly new product which consists of pure silver in
clay form which can be fashioned and moulded just like
ordinary ceramic clay. However, once it has been fired it fuses
to become 99.9% pure silver (which may even be hall-marked).
This means that it is very easy to work and extremely versatile
as almost any shape can be achieved. Yet in its fired, pure
silver form it is robust and has a fine lustre.
I also run workshops in dichroic glass jewellery.
Details of all my courses may be found on my web-site:
